Alongside every book is an estimated delivery timeframe. This is the time it will take for us to obtain the book and ship it to your doorstep.
We ship books from our fulfilment centres in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Books ordered from our New Zealand centre are couriered directly to customers with tracking. In order to keep our shipping charges lower, books ordered from the overseas centres are consolidated bi-weekly into single shipments and express airfreighted to New Zealand. They are then couriered to customers with tracking.
Obviously, books sent from overseas will take slightly longer to reach you than books already in New Zealand. We take this into account in the estimated delivery time displayed for each individual book.
As a guide, the following timeframes apply:

| Books from the UK | 12-18 business days |
Delivery to addresses outside of New Zealand can take up to take 2-4 weeks.
In stock items: In stock items ordered on weekdays before midday will ship on the same day from our Auckland warehouse (unless your order includes other items - see below). Courier delivery time frames apply.
Orders with multiple items: If you have multiple items in your order with the same estimated delivery time frame, they may be sent together as one shipment. This means that the first items to be received at our fulfilment centre may be held from shipment until the others have also been received. In some cases, this may result in slight delays beyond the time frame stated.
In stock items may also be held until other items in the order are ready to ship.
Pre-orders: Generally, pre-ordered titles will be sent to us by the local distributors on the publisher's release date in New Zealand. Following release date, customers should expect to receive their orders within 5-10 business days.
If you are ordering multiple books in one order, they may ship in multiple deliveries. You will not be charged for more than one delivery fee.

Deliveries within NZ are made by courier.
Deliveries to Australia are done by Airmail.
All other deliveries are by courier or airmail, depending on the destination country.
If your order is not received within the time frame stipulated on our site, please contact customer services to trace the missing item.
Please note: we are only able to process claims for missing items within two months of the dispatch date. We are not able to accept any claims after this time frame.
