For dog people of all ages, a jubilant ode to our canines and the many things they love with wild abandon – especially YOU!
From the yard to the park, from school to the market, from one end of the day to the next, dogs are full of joy. Ears flapping out the car window! Tug of war with a rope toy! Sprawling out on the sofa! Getting those “good dog” treats! Wherever they go, whatever they see, dogs love it all. But what do they love most? Guess! This delightfully chaotic book from Leda Schubert and Paul Meisel portrays dogs of all shapes and colours in a laugh-out-loud celebration of our very best friends.
Leda Schubert is the author of several picture books, including Nathan's Song, illustrated by Maya Ish-Shalom, Trailblazer: The Story of Ballerina Raven Wilkinson, Listen: How Pete Seeger Got America Singing, and Monsieur Marceau, which won the Orbis Pictus Award for Outstanding Nonfiction for Children. She lives in Vermont, USA with her husband and two dogs.
Paul Meisel is the illustrator of more than seventy books and the author-illustrator of multiple titles, including I See a Cat and See Me Run, both of which were Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor Books. He lives in Connecticut, USA.
