When Olive lets spoilt Sofia La Boosh get under her skin, she finds herself in all sorts of trouble trying to compete. Soon her best friend Rani isn't talking to her and Olive's apology rehearsals don't seem to be helping.
Why can't life be like the movies? Will she be able to make things right?
Unlike Olive Black, Melbourne-based Alex Lee Miles never quite made it as an international mega movie star. She did however try her hand at writing. Since her first play was published while at high school, she's written for audiences with TV shows, plays and pantomimes, for brides with the book Sixty Secrets for a Happy Bride and for spys-in-waiting with eight books in the Zac Power Spy Camp series. She even wrote this bio.
Maude Guesne dreamt of being a film star when she was little, but in the end decided to be an illustrator instead (far less paparazzi). Her work includes illustrations for The Umbrella Girls series, Total Girl magazine, Australian Women's Weekly and the Adelaide Children's Hospital murals. Taking a break from Paris, Maude has lived in many different countries and loves travelling the world (kind of like a movie star, but with less private jets). She drew Olive Black while living in Bali.
