Aliakbar Montazer Haghighi
Dr. Aliakbar Montazer Haghighi
Professor and Head of the Mathematics Department at Prairie View A&M University, Texas, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Probability and Statistics from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, under the supervision of Lajos Takács. He holds a BA and MA in Mathematics from San Francisco State University, California.
Dr. Haghighi has extensive teaching, research, and administrative experience at universities worldwide. His research publications include mathematics books and lecture notes written in English and Farsi. His latest book, Delayed and Network Queues, co-authored with D.P. Mishev, was published by John Wiley & Sons Inc., New Jersey, USA in September 2016. His most recent book chapter, Stochastic Modeling in Industry and Management, Chapter 7 of A Modeling and Simulation in Industrial Engineering, co-authored with D.P. Mishev, was edited by Mangey Ram and J.P. Davim and published by Springer in 2018.
He is a lifetime member of AMS and SIAM and serves as the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Application and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM).
Dr. Indika Rathnathungalage Wickramasinghe
Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Prairie View A&M University, Texas, USA. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, USA, under the supervision of Dr. Alex Trindade. He also holds an MS in Statistics from Texas Tech University, an MSc in Operations Research from Moratuwa University, Sri Lanka, and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
Dr. Wickramasinghe possesses over 15 years of teaching and research experience at various universities globally. He has individually and collaboratively published numerous research papers and successfully submitted several grant proposals.
