About the Author

Ansel Adams was the most honored American photographer of the twentieth century. Renowned for his photographs of the natural world, he photographed throughout America's national parks and wilderness areas.

Andrea G. Stillman, who worked for Adams in the 1970s, has edited six books of his photographs and writings for The Ansel Adams Trust, including The American Wilderness, Our National Parks, and Ansel Adams in Colour.
