Audrey Helen Weber is also the author and artist of On the Day the Horse Got Out. She grew up in central Massachusetts and studied theater design and drawing at Hampshire College. Drawing inspiration from nursery rhymes and school primers, her storytelling seeks to play with the relationship between words and pictures. Audrey's artwork has been featured in numerous publications, including the New York Times Book Review and the New Yorker online.
