Everything you need to master lace and openwork knitting.
The classic elegance of lace knitting is undeniably eye-catching--and daunting, at first glance! But now, Denise Samson, popular Scandinavian designer and author of Ponchos to Knit and The Cable Knitter's Guide, is back with an all-new helpful handbook perfect for crafters who want to take their knitting to the next level. Translated from the original Norwegian for the first time and adapted for an American knitting audience, with sample swatches photographed in full color and easy-to-read charts, this indispensable guide puts the beauty and intricacy of lace knitting and openwork at your fingertips.
“" The Cable Knitter's Guide is different in one way from many other how-to books: In the glossary section, rather than simply having definitions of the cables with a drawing or photo, the publisher has included QR codes. Aim your tablet or smartphone at the QR code, and it will take you to a silent YouTube video of the technique. You may find this fascinating and useful, or you may prefer old-school illustrations, but it's an interesting way to combine paper book "technology" with modern technology." -- Creative Knitting Magazine”
