Books For Keeps - 5 star review

"When there’s a storm, grandchild and Grandpa, set off for a beach adventure to find the mysterious storm dragon, in this heartwarming story of family, excitement and imagination. With powerful illustrations that evoke the power and allure of weather as a force of nature. Storm dragon is a wonderful picture book to read aloud an share with EYFS classes."

School Reading List - October Book Club Picks

"Carol Thompson’s smudgy, whirling images perfectly capture the breathless pace of this story. This is a delight of a book. The lively language and the lovely relationship between the grandfather and granddaughter are matched by the colours and movement of the illustrations which, with the page design, drive the story forward.  Adults and children from 3 upwards will have great fun sharing this book and imitating the hectic race in the face of the storm."
