Kate Peridot is an author of both fiction and non-fiction children’s stories. In 2014, her children’s story, The Elephant Carnival, won a Walker Books Animal Stories competition for 4-7-year-olds. In 2015 she won the Winchester Festival, First Pages of a Novel award for a YA concept. Kate’s first non-fiction children’s book, Caring Conservationists will be published in 2023. Kate lives with her family in the south of France.
Sarah Long graduated with her illustration degree from Cambridge School of Art in 2004. She started off her career at Caroline Gardner before moving into giftware, where she designed bags, ceramics and textiles, designing products for well-known brands such as The Beatles and Moomin. Sarah lives in East Sussex.
