He has written many books including: The Night Mayor, Anno Dracula, The Man From the Diogenes Club, The Vampire Genevieve, Nightmare Movies, Ghastly Beyond Belief, Horror: 100 Best Books and The BFI Companion to Horror. He has won the Bram Stoker Award, the International Horror Guild Award and the British Science Fiction Award.

James Marriott (Author)

James Marriott was an author and academic specialising in film. His book Horror Films, was selected by The Times as one of their film books of 2004. He also wrote a series of essays and articles for magazines and websites including cult periodical Headpress.
