About Melanie Proulx and Ashley LanniMelanie Proulx is an English literature graduate student. As one of her research interests include children's literature, she became frustrated with the lack of feminist, inclusive, children's literature available. She and her colleague Ashley thus decided to do something about it and begin writing stories of their own.Ashley Lanni is a history graduate student. She has been writing creatively most of her life but never attempted to get her work published until now. Being a feminist and a member of the LGTB community, Ashley was also frustrated with the lack of feminist, inclusive, children's literature and decided to collaborate with Melanie.About Amelia HartAmelia Hart is an illustrator who enjoys experimenting with all kinds of mediums. Through her work, she loves to tell stories using elements of design and nature. Her soft colours bring a harmonious visual that creates a more serene and pleasing appeal to her illustrations.
