PRODUCT INFORMATION

Description

Princess Peony stars here in her first two adventures, reminding young readers why her princess credentials are as strong as they ever were.

Once upon a time there was a dear little girl called Peony.
That’s P.E.O.N.Y.
And it’s me. I live in a Castle with my Dragon whose name is Totts.

That’s T.O.T.T.S
And that makes me a Princess if you really want to know.

The Adventures of Princess Peony features the plucky little princess's first two adventures, reminding readers just how useful a quick wit, a strong imagination and a dog who thinks he’s a dragon can be. Especially when some TROLLS do not fully appreciate one's greatness. Princess Peony must keep an eye on the evil troll (her brother) as he tries to steal her dragon (dog), all the while avoiding being eaten by a bear, restoring order to the kingdom and proving that she is, in fact, a princess.

About the Author

Nette Hilton has worked in many jobs from governess to teacher, tax clerk to receptionist/telephonist and all sorts in between. Her life as a writer began when her daughter, Emma, began to really hate going to school and she set out to write a book to help her through it. Since then, Nette has become an award-winning author with more than twenty years of experience. She grew up in Victoria but has lived in Sydney since the age of eleven.

Lucinda Gifford works as an illustrator and author from her cosy, messy home studio in Melbourne. After taking a degree in architecture and veering into an advertising career, Lucinda finally took the plunge and started work on her true passion: children's books. In 2014 she was awarded the Five Mile Press Illustrator Prize and, since then, has illustrated over twenty books. She uses pencil, ink, crayon, marker, and watercolour to produce her illustrations, and usually uses PhotoShop to put everything together. Architecture still fascinates her, and she loves to draw all sorts of buildings, especially castles filled with dragons.
