Peter Bently (Author) Peter Bently grew up in an army family and went to ten different schools. He studied languages at Oxford and worked as a journalist and non-fiction book editor before becoming a children's author. He is the author of more than seventy books, including Cats Ahoy!, which won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, and King Jack and the Dragon, which was an American Library Association Notable Book of the Year.Becka Moor (Illustrator) Becka Moor studied illustration for children's publishing at Glyndwr University, graduating in 2012. Since then, she has worked on a variety of young fiction, non-fiction and picture books. Becka Moor is the illustrator of The Royal Babysitters, runner-up in the Sainsbury’s Children’s Book Award, and of Violet and the Pearl of the Orient, which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize. Becka lives and works in Manchester.
