About The Author
Richard John Alexander
Richard John Alexander studied German, French and General Linguistics at Jesus College, Cambridge from 1964-1967, graduating with a BA in Modern Languages. From 1970-1974, he studied economics as an external student of the University of London, receiving a BSc(Econ) in 1974. He has lived as an expatriate in various European countries for over fifty years, working at ten different colleges and universities in Finland, Italy, England, Germany, and Austria. His final appointment was as a full professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria. He retired for health reasons in 2013 and is now an emeritus professor.
