Read Write Inc. Phonics Flashcards are a great way to introduce the letters and sounds that make up words - the 'Speed Sounds'. The cards feature all 31 Set 1 Speed Sounds and corresponding letters to enable children to learn phonics and decode words easily. Ruth Miskin is currently involved in a series of nationwide training programmes for primary schools.Channel 4 is currently filming Ruth Miskin working in a failing school, using the RWI programme, to raise standards and turn struggling and non-readers into more confident and competent readers.
