She recently studied for an MA in Children's Literature at Bath Spa University, where SUN CATCHER won the annual UNITED ARTISTS' PRIZE for the most promising first 15,000 words of a children's novel in her final year. It was also shortlisted in the Chicken House MA Graduate Children's Author competition. Her research is thorough and makes full use of the internet, as well as travel.
