About the Author

Jake Hall (they/them) is a Sheffield-based journalist, public speaker, and author of The Art of Drag, published in September 2020. Over the last six years, they have primarily written about queer culture, the activism of marginalised communities and drag history. They have written for publications such as The Independent, MEL magazine and British Vogue.

Anshika Khullar (they/them) is an Indian, non-binary transgender illustrator based in Southampton. Anshika's work often focuses on socio-political themes, such as queerness, being an immigrant and body neutrality. Their work has earned them the ALA Stonewall Book Award and the Renaissance Accelerated Reader Award.
