About the Author

Valerio Massimo Manfredi is an Italian historian, writer, essayist, archaeologist and journalist. Valerio Massimo Manfredi defines himself "Ancient World Topographer". Since 1978 he spends his time teaching in several European universities, digging ruins in the Mediterranean and in the Middle East, and writing wonderful novels. He lives and works in his country house of Piumazzo di Castelfranco Emilia, near Modena. Richard Hollingworth is a British actor who was the resident voice coach at DNA Performance Resource in Manchester which included workshops on accents, voice on stage, voice on screen and voice for radio. Richard worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company on their production of Adelaide Road and works regularly with the 4diobooks website. He provides voiceovers for numerous TV and web advert campaigns, as well as writing, voicing, recording and producing comedy podcasts and voice demos.
