He is recognized worldwide for moving education systems toward more rigorous and relevant skills and knowledge for all students. Before founding ICLE, Daggett served as a teacher, an administrator, and as a director with the New York State Education Department. He is the author of many publications, including Making Schools Work; Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships in Action; and The Evolution of Education.
