Margaret Hodges (1911-2005) was a Caldecott Award-winning American writer of books for children. She wrote and published over 40 books before retiring in 1976. She died in 2005. Trina Schart Hyman was an American illustrator of children's books. She illustrated over 150 books and won four Caldecott awards during her career.
