Description

'Meg Tilly never fails to deliver a perfect escape' JILL SHALVIS

Welcome to Solace Island . . .

Gallery owner Zelia Thompson loves living on the idyllic Solace Island. With its beautiful views, warm community and brilliant local bakery, Zelia's sorrow after losing her beloved husband is finally starting to ease. But when her close friend Alexus dies, Zelia is left grief stricken all over again. Worse still, she thinks someone is covering up the truth about her friend's death.

Reclusive crime author Gabe Conaghan has been sent to Solace Island by his father and plans to make his visit as short as possible. What he doesn't expect is to be captivated by Zelia, the woman he first saw ten years earlier looking radiant on her wedding day; the woman he's never been able to get out of his head.

When Zelia asks for his help to work out what really happened to Alexus, Gabe agrees. Yet as they grow closer, it becomes clear that Zelia is in danger. Will they be able to unravel the dark secrets surrounding Alexus's untimely death before the killer strikes again?
