About the Author

Marcus Pfister is the author of the phenomenally successful Rainbow Fish series, as well as many other well-reviewed books for children including ]Questions, Questions and Animal ABC's. He has worked as a graphic artist, a sculptor, a painter, and a photographer as well as a children's book author-illustrator. Marcus Pfister lives in Berne, Swizterland. Burkhard Fries was born in 1969, and for many years he has lived and worked as a primary schoolteacher in Mannheim, Germany. He loves adapting literary texts for use in primary schools, and is a keen creator of teaching materials for several different publishing firms.
