Irena Brignull is an acclaimed screenwriter and novelist. She wrote the screenplay for the Oscar-nominated film The Boxtrolls and adapted Skellig for Sky. This is her first picture book for Walker. She lives in London.
About the illustrator Richard Jones grew up in the Midlands but moved to Devon to study illustration at the University of Plymouth and never went home again. His previous books for Walker include The Squirrels’ Busy Year and Bird Builds a Nest in the Science Storybook series.
