Before picking up Calculus: A Complete Introduction, my math skills peaked at counting pizza slices, and even then, I lost track after slice 3. But now? Thanks to this book, I’m confidently calculating the rate at which my life spirals into chaos—using derivatives!

The book starts off gentle, like, “Hey, want to learn calculus? No big deal!” Then BAM, you’re halfway through, suddenly talking about integrals like you're solving the mystery of the universe. I think I accidentally solved time travel on page 127, but I’m too scared to go back and check.

Also, let me tell you—nothing spices up a Friday night like applying L'Hôpital's Rule to figure out the limits of my patience. Spoiler alert: It’s undefined.

The real magic? I now use calculus to justify all my bad decisions. Ate a whole pizza? I was simply maximizing my pizza-to-happiness ratio. Overthinking at 2 a.m.? Just optimizing the complex function of existential dread. My friends don't understand, but that’s their problem—they haven't read this book.

In short, if you're looking to solve complex math problems and sound like a genius at parties (trust me, nothing gets people excited like talking about tangents), this book is a must-read. Bonus: it also makes an excellent doorstop if you decide calculus isn't for you after all.
