Welcome, baby! We’ve been waiting for you. Simple text on each spread of this heartwarming baby book expresses the anticipation and joy of welcoming a newborn into the family. Full-colour illustrations by Stephan Lomp feature human babies and their families experiencing the joys of a newborn, from cuddling to tucking into bed to looking for a baby's first smile.

Indestructibles are printed on a unique nontoxic, paperlike material that holds up to anything babies can throw at it – gumming, spilling, dragging across the floor. And if they get dirty, just rinse them off. Stephan Lomp has been writing and illustrating books with publishers in Germany, the UK, France, Spain, and the United States since 1996. He lives with his family in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Amy Pixton is a mother of triplets who created Indestructibles after her mother-in-law, the artist Kaaren Pixton, began painting murals on Tyvek construction wrap. She lives with her family in Kansas City.
