Description

Aimed at readers aged 9 and up, this book takes a look at the pollution and damage caused to our planet and the solar system through the lens of extreme waste manifestations, such as toxic smogs, grotesque fatbergs, mountainous landfills, marine garbage patches and space junk. It explores these human-created phenomena, uncovering their causes and impact, and asks what is being done to deal with them and prevent their recurrence.
