Description

A comprehensive collection of science careers to wow and inspire the next generation of budding scientists.

Have you any idea how many kinds of scientist there are? Perhaps you're keen to work in the field of science but are not aware of the diverse range of careers on offer. From deep diving in the ocean as an Ichthyologist, or mushroom-hunting as a mycologist, to designing future spacecraft as an Aerospace engineer, or helping to solve crimes as a toxicologist, there is a stunning variety of careers to aspire to.

Flick through the pages of this book to discover what sort of scientist you could be. This book showcases a diverse array of inspiring careers across the four disciplines of chemistry, biology, physics and technology. You'll find details of what sort of work each job involves, the specialist equipment used and what key skills are involved so you can consider which jobs play to your strengths or explore options you'd never considered or even heard of before.

The simple, bold eye-catching design and accompanying artwork of each role will make this the perfect gift for any child or student from age 9 and up.
