Avani Dwivedi was born and raised in Navi Mumbai, India, and later moved to the the US to pursue her dream of becoming an artist. She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a degree in Illustration and Book Arts. Avani is inspired by art, identity and her childhood experiences of growing up in India.
