About the Author

Emily Sunez manages multiple chronic conditions, including dysautonomia, lupus, complex regional pain syndrome, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. After leaving a career in teaching and redesigning her life to manage her symptoms, Sunez founded the Los Angeles Dysautonomia Network (LADN) and started a chronic illness support group. She lives in Pasadena, CA.
