Critic Reviews

"Delicious comic caper from a dream author illustrator team... Michael Rosen knows just what makes young children laugh and the story is deliciously silly. It's also perfect for readers just beginning to read on their own with short chapters, even shorter sentences, lots of repetition and brilliant illustrations by Tony Ross. A very tasty tale." LoveReading4Kids
"an engaging read... enhanced by wonderfully expressive black-and-white pen and ink drawings by the talented Tony Ross, who creates movement and character with just a few lines. Perfect for newly-confident independent readers, this light-hearted tale will particularly appeal to cat owners." BookTrust
"An easy-to-read chapter book with friendly line drawings" Jewish Chronicle
