Description

A chilling tale based on true events from the bestselling author of The Ghost Hunters - now a major ITV drama starring Rafe Spall

At the height of the Cold War, officials at the Ministry of Defence conducted a highly secret investigation into unusual events that occurred along a strip of rugged coastline within the Pembrokeshire National Park nicknamed 'The Broad Haven Triangle'. The events made national headlines: lights and objects hovering in the sky, ghostly figures peering into farmhouse windows, cowering animals, and poltergeists plaguing a terrified family of witnesses.Thirty years later, official files pertaining to these occurrences were finally released for public scrutiny at the National Archives. The disclosure prompted a new witness to come forward to speak of what he knew. His testimony rocked the very foundations of the British Government. This is his story.

Surprising, serpentine and clever - Sunday Times on The Ghost Hunters

A deft, spooky psychological drama based on a true story - Daily Mail on The Ghost Hunters

A substantial fictional sweetmeat. Close the curtains and prepare to be pleasantly scared - Metro on The Ghost Hunters

Back Cover

The Havens, Wales, 1977. My name is Robert Wildling. Since childhood I have been running from my parents' deaths. From my grandfather Randall Llewellyn Pritchard - his fanatical omens about fires in the sky. From what happened at Broad Haven. But now my memories have returned to haunt me. In the Ministry of Defence Room 800 I met the man who keeps the nation's secrets - who wants me to uncover the truth behind those ghostly figures, the lights from another world. I know it is my duty to expose Broad Haven, even though it will be dangerous... even though I may not live to tell the tale. I know it is my duty, but still I am afraid. I know the Watchers will be waiting for me there.
