Rumbelow sets off to visit his grandparents. It's a hot day, but Rumbelow feels so happy that he begins to dance down the lane. He meets a sad-faced farmer with a sad-faced pig. How am I going to drive my lazy pig all the way to market on a hot day like this?" said the farmer. Dance, dance, dance to the market! Come on," said Rumbelow. o the farmer follows Rumbelow's lead and dances after him. But it's not long before Rumbelow, the farmer and his pig meet someone else down the lane, who also needs some encouragement. By the time Rumbelow arrived at his grandparents' house, he has acquired a rather large amount of new friends. Luckily, his grandparents are more than happy to invite everyone in for tea and cakes!

John Yeoman is an English writer. Quentin Blake's friend and colleague, he has written many amusing stories for him to illustrate. Born in 1932, Quentin Blake has been drawing ever since he can remember and has always made his living as an illustrator. He has also taught, and for ten years was Head of the Illustration department at the Royal College of Art. Quentin Blake is Britain's leading illustrator, and was chosen as the first Children's Laureate in 1999. He was made a CBE in 2005.
