About the Author

JESSICA SOUHAMI is an acclaimed artist and storyteller whose artwork is inspired by the shadow puppet shows she created and took on tour earlier in her career. Her illustrations, like her puppets, use brilliant colour and bold shapes and her characters leap and swoop across the spreads. She has an international following for her retellings of traditional tales from round the world. Among her many books are The Little, Little House; Honk Honk, Hold Tight and Please, Mr Magic Fish (also published by Otter-Barry Books). Jessica lives in north London
