About the Author

Adam Gilchrist is one of Australia's best-known and best-loved cricketers in the game's history. 'Gilly' was a record-breaking wicketkeeper, outstanding batsman and vice-captain of the Australian team, earning honours including the Wisden Cricketer of the Year (2002), the Allan Border medal (2003) and ODI Player of the Year (2003 and 2004). Upon retiring from international cricket in 2008, Gilchrist played for the Indian Premier League and and has since worked as a commentator. He lives in Perth with his family. Champions of Cricket is his first book for children.
