Author details

Kate is an author and photographer living in Swindon, UK. Originally from Northamptonshire, Kate went on to study for her BA (Hons) in Media Production at Coventry University. She has enjoyed a creative career in photography and theatre marketing since graduating in 2009. Although writing has always played a part in her previous roles, it was the birth of her daughter that turned Kate's attention (and joy) to children's books.



Illustrator details

Angela is a freelance illustrator based in Market Harborough, having graduated from Loughborough University with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication and Illustration in 2010. Angela works with a variety of clients in children's and ladies print design and illustrates custom commissions alongside her work on children's books.

Angela works with materials like inks, dip pens, watercolours and markers to create a fun, tactile and expressive style. She enjoys adding elements of pattern to her work and is inspired by fashion and mid-century work.
