In 2014 she was runners-up in the Scarlet Stiletto Short Story Award and in 2015 was Highly Commended in the Southern Cross Short Story Award. Julianne works in libraries on programs for children and teens and presents storytimes. She has five children, is a voracious reader and lives in Melbourne.
