Critic Reviews

`This is a story of courage, resilience, sacrifice and determination. Life is not always fair, and that statement certainly applies to Josh Komen. Through the power of will, strength of mind and the love of family and friends, Josh found a purpose to fight against all odds, no matter how much pain and adversity he faced. Josh's story is simply remarkable and allows you to have perspective about what truly matters in life. Thank you for having the courage to share your pain, Josh.' I found the book The Wind at my Back very moving. It brought home to me the fragility of all our lives. This young man Josh Komen struck down so early in his life with cancer
and all the hurdles he had to face, He struck me as a very ambitious young man but also caring and sensitive. He has overcome a lot of pain, sadness and sometimes quite unbearable burdens in his young life. I wish Josh every happiness for the future as he deserves it.
