Does an excellent job sharpening all my knifes, and being water-stone based, doesn't mangle the blade like so many "knife sharpeners" that aren't worthy of the name.Only downside is that this type of design ends up doing a single bevel grind at the very tip of the knife due to only one side of the grinding wheels contacting the tip when you draw it through.
